Constituency Surgeries

BBF has begun a programme of constituency surgeries which bring together businesses with a local MP, a business mentor and a representative from the British Bankers’ Association.

Format
The session will begin with a brief presentation from the local mentor, covering:

why mentoring is important
what mentoring is and what it isn’t
what issues are typically suitable for mentoring
how it has helped the small businesses that they have mentored

The objective is to promote mentoring as a business tool that can help small businesses meet their goals. We hope that as a result of attending the surgery some of the small businesses will want to use a mentor, or maybe become a mentor themselves.
