Constituency Surgeries

BBF has begun a programme of constituency surgeries which bring together businesses with a local MP, a business mentor and a representative from the British Bankers’ Association.
Format
The session will begin with a brief presentation from the local mentor, covering:
- why mentoring is important
- what mentoring is and what it isn’t
- what issues are typically suitable for mentoring
- how it has helped the small businesses that they have mentored
The objective is to promote mentoring as a business tool that can help small businesses meet their goals. We hope that as a result of attending the surgery some of the small businesses will want to use a mentor, or maybe become a mentor themselves.
