The Better Business Finance (BBF) initiative aims to help small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) thrive by providing them with support and information, improving access to finance, and strengthening understanding of the sector within banks.

British Chambers of Commerce Roundtables and Workshops
In association with the British Chambers of Commerce, BBF will be hosting a number of events to which businesses, advisors and representative bodies can receive face to face information and assistance from the banks. These roundtables and workshops have been organised to address the concerns particularly of the smaller and medium sized businesses who are seeking finance. Read more
ICAEW Business Advice Week
The BBA and BBF will be working with the ICAEW
to stage Business Advice Week from the 25-29 June 2012.
This will consist of a series of events, talks, seminars and one-to-one consultations with SMEs throughout the country. Read more
Constituency Surgeries
BBF has begun a programme of constituency surgeries which bring together businesses with a local MP, a business mentor and a representative from the British Bankers’ Association. Read more
